Re-framing A Negative Situation Into A Positive One

There will always be bad days in our lives.

Even bad moments.

It is up to us whether we let those bad moments eat us alive or do something about them. When we are in the midst of a distressing time we often find it nearly impossible to pick ourselves up and try to enjoy life again.

It can be a series of small instances or it could be one larger unexpected event that ruins our entire mood. But there is a trick to power through it all, you have to strive to reframe a negative situation into a positive one. Let’s explore what reframing a negative means.

LOOK AT PROBLEMS AS MERE CHALLENGES

facing challenges head on

Sometimes your problems are exaggerations of challenges that you may feel unequipped to handle.

That does not have to be true.

You need to look at the problems that you face as something that you have to and can overcome, and it is here to teach you a lesson.

Remember, mindfulness can help you reframe what you consider a negative experience.

NOT EVERYONE IS EVIL

In many situations, what really messes us up is the thought that others will have ill intent.

If there is someone who wants to become our friend, or just wants to help, we might automatically consider them an enemy. This is because we have made ourselves believe that everyone/everything is against us, simply based on the actions of just a few people.

TRY TO FIND THE EASIEST WAY TO DO SOMETHING

Don’t let yourself be overwhelmed by a difficult task.

Stop wasting your time worrying about the time. Instead, put your efforts into devising the most effective way to achieve something with minimum effort.
